This week I had the opportunity to participate in the warm atmosphere of Ciklum Western Europe, at the annual event – #JavaMeetup.
We enjoyed 2 days of meaningful presentations on topics such as News in Java 20, Elasticsearch, troubleshooting techniques, static code analysis, Java Virtual Threads and Design Patterns.
Here you can review my presentation on Advanced Debugging Techniques For Java Apps.
During my presentation, I showcased live practical techniques on how to set and configure breakpoints, do expression evaluation, suspend/unsuspend breakpoints, add more logging on the flight, debug multithreading apps, add filters on breakpoints (such as instance, class or pass count), use intentions or different types of breakpoint (such as line, method, field, exception or lambdas).
If you are interested in this, just ping me on a pm and we can go for a 🍺 or a ☕️ and discuss more.
I am grateful to be part of this nice community of professionals – Ciklum.
