Intro to AI world (Data Science, ML, DL and GenAI).

The way we build software is transforming and so must the way we think.
Our first session, “Intro to the AI World (Data Science, ML, DL & GenAI)” sets the stage for developing an AI-first mindset that’s now essential in every role.

Whether you’re an engineer or practitioner, understanding where AI fits in the big picture isn’t just a competitive advantage – it’s becoming a workplace necessity.
Join us for a light, engaging introduction to AI’s strengths, limits, and myths, and see how it’s reshaping the future of work.

We’ll also share practical examples and give you a sneak peek of what’s coming in the rest of the program.

2025 - August

GenAI in the SDLC

Machines are now capable of reading documentation, writing code, and actively participating in development workflows alongside us as software professionals. This challenges us to rethink our role in front of clients and to adopt new work paradigms, disrupting long-established practices that have shaped the industry for decades.

Many organizations are eager to embrace an “AI-first” approach to improve productivity and streamline processes. However, alongside the pressure for rapid adoption, there’s also a fair amount of uncertainty and skepticism.

In this session, we’ll explore how AI is not only transforming work in general but specifically reshaping the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We’ll go beyond the hype to examine its real capabilities, limitations and common myths.

Expect a hands-on walkthrough of strategies for effective collaboration between human developers and AI agents, along with real-life examples and demos from client projects.

2025 - September

Neural Networks

This is a hands-on deep dive into the technical side of neural networks. The session is designed to help you understand how the “magic” of neural networks actually works in code, without spending tens of hours on lengthy tutorials.

We will cover:
* The building blocks: Neurons, Activations, Weights, Bias, Model
* Quantization and efficiency considerations
* Common NN architectural patterns
* Coding a neural network
* Implementing NNs with popular libraries
* Training, Testing, and Inference workflows
* Using visualizations to better understand learning dynamics

Goal: The purpose of this session is not to turn you into a neural network expert, but to give you a clear understanding of how they work, reveal the ideas that make them function the way they do, and open up new horizons on where to go next if you want to dive deeper.

Panel Speaker & Hands-on Demo Stand on topics such as Agentic AI Architecture and the Transformation of the SDLC.

Course description

Building AI agents capable of lifelong learning represents an ultimate complexity task, closely tied to the breadth of context they can process. This course aims to explore cutting-edge techniques for constructing a full-stack, context-aware system from the ground up. It’s designed to be scalable, suitable for small applications as well as state and enterprise levels. We’ll discuss challenges related to scalability and the implications for data protection and privacy across various contexts, including personal data, financial nuances or military-grade sensitivity. Key concepts covered will include Conversational Agents Architecture, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Architecture, streamlining unstructured data, Large Language Models, Knowledge Representation Techniques, Data Embedding, Retrieval, Semantic Search, and Reasoning.

A RAG system essentially correlates a user’s prompt with a relevant data chunk. It does this by identifying the most semantically similar chunk from the database.

This chunk then becomes the context for the prompt.

When passed to the LLM, it enables the system to provide a relevant answer within the given context.

In this workshop we will explore:

  • Processing highly complex, unstructured data.
  • Extracting meaning from data.
  • Practical knowledge representation techniques for handling large-scale context.
  • Real-time lexical and semantic search.

AI chatbots are likely to be key in transforming our current approaches to UX and privacy. They can cover a broad spectrum of use cases, including impersonations, customer support, assistants, and even replacing parts of GUIs.

In this session, we will explore the challenges of coding a Multimodal AI Conversational Agent from the ground up, using RAG Architecture. The focus will be on scalability and managing unstructured data, providing a comprehensive overview of knowledge representation techniques, context understanding and reasoning, machine unlearning and privacy awareness.

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) has been one of the most talked-about topics in AI this year, with many organizations pioneering its implementation. While significant advancements have been made in data chunking strategies and retrieval techniques, the traditional RAG architecture still faces limitations due to its reliance on vector stores for knowledge bases.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how integrating Knowledge Graphs into RAG can overcome these limitations and elevate the power of understanding in AI applications.

In this workshop, we will explore:

  • Processing highly complex and unstructured data using Gemini API and Vertex AI
  • Understanding the significance of entities and relationships in Graph Theory
  • Practical tools for generating and working with Knowledge Graphs
  • The advantages of using Graph Databases in RAG over traditional relational and vector databases

This session is specifically addressed to developers and data enthusiasts who are eager to explore the next level of innovation with RAG and knowledge-based AI systems.
