Description

16 years after my graduation, I nostalgically returned to my General School.

In 2020 I had the initiative to annually award "The best student of the school".

Unfortunately, the context of the pandemic did not allow the celebration of this moment in a more festive setting, but together with the director of the school, Camelia Dulgheru (my Romanian language teacher, 2000-2001 and 2003-2004) we still managed to grant this prize.

In the meantime, I invited other graduates to contribute and support the most brilliant and persevering students, and in the future to award more and more prizes.

Starting 2024, I am starting to collaborate with Pr. dir. Prof. Gorun on awarding this prizes.

2019-2020 Edition - Ema Manea

Ema finished the 8th grade with 9.97, the highest average grade in the school. I congratulate Ema for her efforts and her family for the support given to her during all these years!

Good luck in the future!

2020-2021 Edition - postponed

Due to the pandemic situation, at the suggestion of the School Director, we postponed the awards for the next year and we will announce the prizes in the future.

2021-2022 Edition - Robert Bumbac & Iuliana Maxim

Since the previous edition was postponed, in 2021-2022 I managed to gather one more sponsor who joined my initiative. In this edition, we offered the same prizes as in the first editions, but we also provided three prizes that consisted of a 6-day summer camp each in the Carpathian Mountains. The awarded students were:

  • Robert Andrei Bumbac – finished the 7th grade with 9.97 in 2020-2021
  • Iuliana Maxim – finished the 7th grade with 9.97 in 2021-2022

2022-2024 Edition - Denisa-Florentina Boșcu & Andrei-Robert Evtimovschi

Due to management change in school, I offered the prize for edition 2022-2033 in 2024.

In this edition, I offered a set of books, a personal secured agenda, money, and a 6-day summer camp each in the Carpathian Mountains.

The awarded students were:

  • Denisa-Florentina Boșcu – finished the 5th grade with 9.94 in 2022-2023
  • Andrei-Robert Evtimovschi – finished the 7th grade with 9.89 in 2023-2024
