You can often recognize a great place to grow and build a healthy career by a few key patterns. Two that stand out to me are how much a company invests in education and how open it is to embracing people’s ideas and initiatives.
In that spirit, I’m happy to share that 2024 was a memorable year at Ciklum in this regard. What began as a small initiative — a program to align AI enthusiasts with the latest advancements in Generative AI — quickly transformed into something much bigger. As one of the initiators, I had the privilege of contributing to the program’s design and development.
With strong support from our L&D department and significant interest from software specialists, the initiative evolved into a full-scale program. Over the past year, we successfully completed two editions, engaging more than 425 participants. I was honored to serve as a mentor alongside 10 other experienced AI experts who shared insights from large-scale corporate AI projects.
The program covered a range of valuable topics, including Tasking & Retrieval, Model Management, Agentic Architecture, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Embeddings and Vector Databases and real-life use cases.
Here’s to a 2025 filled with even more educational opportunities and continued growth within a supportive and open-minded environment.
